Below are my projects in development for film & TV.
Screenplays
Harry Oxford - a comedy/drama series
Harry Oxford, an autistic man in his early 30s, navigates the pitfalls of modern dating vs. familiar expectations, discovering his true self in the process.
An offbeat, sweet comedy-drama series set against the backdrop of contemporary London. Harry Oxford, a priviledged Bloomsbury resident, is thrust into modern dating in a bid to satisfy his aunt’s demand for marriage and to retain occupancy of her apartment.
Harry is matched with Hattie Thoroughgood for a highbrow opera night, but it’s disastrous, and Harry has to prove his worth by competing in the Thoroughgood’s tennis tournament, which leads to an unexpected revelation of his love interests.
Screenplays
Monica Bradley - a feature film
From London to Plymvale, rural Devon, ANA (16) expects a dreary life following her mum’s dream of becoming a landscape painter. But all that changes when she meets MONICA (17), openly gay and confident. Chasing her desires, Ana is led down a reckless path and falls deeply for Monica, not yet realising the price of first love.
Adolescence is messy at the best of times and life-threatening at the worst of times.
Screenplays
Sister Eugenia - a feature film
The tale of Sister Eugenia’s attempts to exact revenge on the new Mother Superior after a visitation from the ghost of her beloved predecessor. Eugenia must fight for justice of the soul or else face her own death of faith.
The setting is Hexham Convent in 14th century Northumberland. A time period rich in the necessity of redemption and faith, in which morbidity is ever present. The story is directly inspired by Shakespeare’s Tragedy of Hamlet.
